The 400 Mile Sale Across Kentucky
Sixty communities, hundreds of yard sales, antique shops, food vendors and fundraisers participated in this annual 4-day event the first weekend in June. This years event just keeps growing. Antique shops try to open earlier and feature special sales and yard sales pop up hourly along with vendors offering everything to eat along the way. So, plan on attending this 400 mile long event along Hwy 68 that has something for everyone. Who knows what "treasures" you will find. It could be a beautiful hand-stitched quilt or a new friend made over the kids clothing stacks! Cargo space will be needed! For information, 270-781-6858

2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Competition Schedule Set
The Games will begin with opening ceremonies on September 25, 2010. The first weekend of competition (September 25-30) will include Reining competition and Endurance. In week two, (October 1-10) will include Jumping, Para-Dressage, Driving and Vaulting competition. The Games will end with closing ceremonies on October 10, 2010. For more information on the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games visit www.feigames2010.org As an added benefit, NBC Sports will extend its coverage of the 2010 Games on September 26th, adding an extra 30 minutes of Games programming. The broadcast, tentatively scheduled for noon-1:30 p.m., will feature the opening ceremonies, and highlights from the Reining and Endurance competitions.
