THE VINEYARDS AT LONGVIEW HUNTING RESORT
Welcome to "The Vineyards at Longview", Central Kentucky's newest hunting resort! A combination of some of the best hunting in Kentucky, world-class accommodations and "genuine Southern" hospitality await you for the coming season. Previously hunted by only family and friends, this 650-acre property is now available to experience first-hand, the most widely kept hunting secret in this part of the state. Low hunting pressure and practiced land-management techniques have created populations of deer and turkey that are both plentiful and mature.
Whitetail Deer and Turkey: Whether your passion includes bow hunting, muzzle loader or shotgun (no rifles allowed); these 3 or 5-day hunts are designed to exceed your whitetail and turkey hunting expectations. Because of the vineyard's continued goal to be a "trophy destination", minimum harvest standards apply, but no Trophy Fees are charged. The hunts are fully guided and developed around your maximum safety and success. Packages include: guide, lodging, all meals, transportation to/from the field, choice of blinds (ground blinds and tree stands), and field dressing your animal. Kentucky hunting license and gratuities are not included. Extra services available on-site include taxidermy and meat processing.
Waterfowl and Pheasant and Upland Bird Hunting: Three lakes on the property (27-acres) also provide additional wing shooting opportunities for Canada Geese and a variety of native ducks. Early season resident geese and late season migratory birds offer supplemental hunting options. For the pheasant enthusiasts, there is also European Tower Shoots and release hunts. Extensive food plots also provide ideal opportunities for dove hunts.
Accommodations: A 16-unit upscale apartment complex. Each apartment includes: a living room with sleeper sofa, kitchenette with dining area, 2-bedrooms, each with 2-queen beds and full-baths, balcony decks, wide-screen TV's and wireless internet. Each unit can comfortably accommodate 4-6 guests. All lower level apartments are ADA accessible.
The Lodge, adjacent to the apartments, includes a full service restaurant, dining room, full bar and den area. An outdoor Patio/Pavilion has the capability for additional outdoor dining and entertainment. You'll never have to leave the resort until it’s time to depart!
Support Facilities/Services: The Resort was developed with your total needs in mind. The facilities also include: a 3-D archery course (30 targets) and a sighting-in range. After a successful hunt, you are also welcome to enjoy the fishing at one of three lakes, stocked with crappie and large-mouth bass. The 18-hole championship golf course is among the best in the region.
