FEB 6-27, 2021 - Love Your Downtown
Love locally with Georgetown’s Love Your Downtown passport event! Locals and visitors can pick up a FREE shopping, dining and services passport at participating businesses in Downtown Georgetown for a chance to win a grand prize. The Love Your Downtown Passport event will take place during normally scheduled business hours. Winners will be contacted during the last week in February. More details soon. Downtown Georgetown
March 13, 2021 - Snowbird Dressage III
Snowbird Dressage is a Kentucky Dressage Association sanctioned Dressage show. The series will include USEA classes with the February and March shows, offering more excitement for competitors and spectators alike. Dine in the delicacies of Georgetown during #GtownEats Week, March 20-27. #GTownEats Week is an 8-day culinary celebration featuring local Georgetown restaurants, bakeries and drinking establishments. Fans at Road to the Horse, follow the journey and witness an accumulation of a lifetime of passion and knowledge be put to the test as elite clinicians from around the world face off for the coveted World Championship of Colt Starting title. Fans witness partnerships develop before their very eyes, they witness the setbacks and witness the triumphs, as competitors build a relationship with an untouched 3-year-old American Quarter Horse which will then be put to the ultimate test, where only one can walk away with the World Championship of Colt Starting title. May 28-30, 2021 - Horsey Hundred Bicycling Event
Horsey Hundred is a leading central Kentucky cycling event sponsored by the Bluegrass Cycle Club. This event takes place on Memorial Day Weekend and features 30, 50, 66 & 100 mile rides in areas surrounding Georgetown, Kentucky. The Horsey 100 welcomes cyclists from all over the country and internationally for road cycling and southern hospitality. Enjoy a "45-minute" Lavender u-pick session, where you are able to take your time to choose and cut the stems you love while also taking in some fresh air at the farm. "Lavender In Bloom" first opened for U-Pick in 2018. There are 10 varieties of lavender at this time and about 1,600 plants in all.
