All are invited to write a letter to Santa and drop them off at the museum to be mailed to the North pole. In and around Historic Downtown Georgetown, KY is a shopper’s delight, especially when approaching the holidays. All of our businesses light their storefronts up with cheerful decorations and offer some of the best deals around. This year’s Small Business Saturday, set for Nov. 30, is an opportunity to discover, celebrate and support Georgetown’s many small businesses. Hanging of the Green at Georgetown College

The community is welcome to join Georgetown College for the annual "Hanging of the Green," a special chapel service to mark the start of the Advent of Christmas seasons. The chapel service begins at 7:00pm on December 3rd in the John L. Hill Chapel on Jackson Street, where parking is available along the street and at the surface lot at Jackson and Military.
